I am so surprised to find a product like this. Finally, they are testing alternative treatments in multicenter double-blind placebo-controlled studies. This brand of Urolithin A is ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 3rd party tested to assure it is the real thing. YOU DON'T SEE ANY OF THIS ON 99.99% OF THE SUPPLEMENTS SOLD. The is currently a NIH, National Cancer Institute study being done: Placebo- Controlled Trial of Urolithin A Supplementation in Men with Prostate Cancer Undergoing Radical Prostatectomy, URO-PRO Trial: "This phase II randomized control trial assesses the effect of Urolithin A (Uro-A) supplementation compared to placebo in men with biopsy-confirmed prostate cancer undergoing radical prostatectomy (RP) progressive disease. A total of 90 men will be accrued and randomized 1:1 to receive a 1000 mg daily dose of Uro-A in two 250 mg capsules PO BID or two placebo capsules BID daily for 3 to 6 weeks prior to RP. The primary endpoint is to determine the effect of Uro-A on decreasing prostate tumor tissue oxidative stress (measured by 8-OHdG) compared to placebo". The 5 centers are Los Angeles Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Northwestern, U of Chicago Cancer Center, Duke (where I did my internship and residency), U. of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center. OMG! Results not back and subjects still being taken, but this is phase II study. There have been NIH metabolic studies completed you just have to Google. After giving one star (they don't have O) for a lot of these supplements it is really, really nice to see one that might help people and has information about it that means something.

Urolithin A - I have been reading about the benefits of Urolithin A and I noticed this product seemed to have good quality control certifications so I decided to order it. Urolithin A has been studied for its positive effects on cellular mitochondria in ways too complex to discuss here (google it for more information). This product is made in a certified GMP (good manufacturing practices) facility, which is always a good thing. It is made in the USA. I always like to know where my nutritional supplements are made. Some countries have a poor reputation for enforcing sanitation and purity regulations. Uniquely, this product comes with a QR code that you can scan and view the third party certificate of analysis for ingredient potency and for microbial and heavy metal purity. I'm assuming that's for the batch this bottle came from, but I couldn't confirm this. Still, I thought that was pretty impressive. I'm giving it 5 stars.

I'm very active and cycle and work out regularly. I'm always looking for supplements to help boost muscle strength and improve overall performance when exercising. I've read a lot about Urolithin A that is very promising. I really like the fact that there's a QR code on the bottle, which allows the user to read about certified testing results. I've never seen this feature before on any supplement.
